  2. I can be really very very stubborn. But I’m the first to throw my pride out the window when it comes to love.

  12. Me in a relationship and Me normally are 2 very different people / personalities.
  13. I adore my best friend to death and I’m proud of him, despite all the jokes I make. (this applies to alot of my other friends too!) And my closest bunch of pals are “family” to me. They’re my comfort zone where I can be myself completely and I feel totally at ease with them.
  14. I have lots of friends, but only a few that I’m really comfortable hanging out with. Most of the time, meeting people or friends depends on whether I’m in the mood. Except for those that I’m comfortable with, who I can hang out with 24/7 and still be happy.
  15. I can do the Vulcan hand sign.
  16. I can do my own french manicures. Free hand. Whether or not they’re professional standard is besides the point.
  17. I have 2 tattoos and 7 earholes. I used to have 11 earholes but 4 got infected and I let them close. I’m thinking of getting a 3rd tattoo. I love tattoos.
  18. Seeing suffering like the holocaust and homeless people and beggars and slums etc makes me really sad. Like ache in the chest, teary-eyed, sad.
  19. I always buy tissue paper from those uncles / aunties that go round coffeeshops / hawkers and the handicapped. Even if they may be con artists.
  20. I try to see the good in people and find excuses / reasons / explanations for their behaviour.
  21. I’ve been to “sleazy” karaoke lounges like kabuki and the now defunct orchard palace with my male friends. And the hostesses still *ahem* even when I’m in the room.
  22. I can’t whistle.
  23. I can only swim the breaststroke. I can’t do freestyle. And I panic if my feet can’t touch the bottom.
  24. I’m very easily amused.
  25. Magic tricks amaze me. Even simple ones. Unless I know how its done.
  26. I have a sensitive nose. Some perfumes and incense like sandalwood give me terrible headaches.
  27. I have sensitive eyes. They get watery easily.
  28. I have difficulty telling left and right.
  29. I have a thing for shoulders. Especially those with the shoulder bones sticking out. I have this urge to bite those nice shoulders.
  30. I’m a very big klutz. I have a habit of accidentally injuring myself.
  31. I have migraines, asthma, sinus and backaches.
  32. I pick up things and learn quite fast. I do it by watching people, reading up, asking questions, and playing around or practising.
  33. I don’t wear black tops or dresses.
  34. I can’t bathe in cold water. It gives me a cold.
  35. If I really had to choose, I’d take heat over cold. I’m quite intolerant of cold.
  36. I’m fascinated with ancient cultures and mythology. Greek, Roman, etc but especially Egyptian.
  37. I suffer from depression. Most people think I’m a happy-go-lucky person, very bubbly. So it surprises alot of them when they find out I have depression. And I have pretty bad mood swings at times.
  38. I used to cut myself when I was depressed.
  39. I’ve been smoking since I was around 12, drinking since around 13, clubbing since around 15.
  40. I think I’m allergic to sour plums.
  41. I think I’m allergic to condoms or at least one of the ingredients in condoms.

  43. I washed the sour coating off those sour apple sweets that were popular a few years back.
  44. I’m a reality TV whore. I love survivor, the amazing race, even the bachelor and american idol. But I detest shows like Temptation Island.
  45. I absolutely cannot stand unfaithfulness. That’s why I detest Temptation Island.
  46. I’m a comedy freak. I adore things that make me laugh. And I think having a sense of humour is extremely important.
  47. I strongly believe in cohabiting before marriage so that a couple can really see what it’s like to live with each other 24/7 and see if they can truly stand each other.
  48. I believe that an IJ education is a one of a kind experience. And I think my primary and secondary school (CHIJ Toa Payoh) is the best.
  49. I think guys who can dance well are rare, and very very hot.
  50. I’ve shot a gun. During my NPCC days in sec school, I went for the Marksman Test and I was the second most accurate marksman in my batch.
  51. I had 3 breast lumps removed from my right breast when I was 20. There was only supposed to be 2, but they found another 1 hiding behind 1 of the original lumps. Thankfully, they were non-cancerous. But I still get worried.
  52. I’m the only one in my immediate family that’s not a baptised roman catholic. This is because when I was younger, my mother was still buddhist and she forbade me to get baptised until I turned 21 and could think for myself (or she couldn’t control me anymore). Now that I’m past that age, my mother has converted to the catholic faith and insists that I get baptised. But I’m rebelling for awhile (that time I want, she say cannot. now she say must, I must follow?! I’m not a toy for her to play with, leh.) I guess I eventually will get baptised, after I procrastinate and rebel enough.
  53. I adore the Ewoks from Star Wars. I wanted to keep one as a pet. I went to Tokyo Disneyland and fell in love with the Ewok (from Star Wars) plushie but my dad didn’t allow me to get it. He told me I could find it in Singapore and it would definitely be cheaper. It’s been about a decade and I still can’t find the damned thing and I still want it badly!
  54. I love to people watch.
  55. I love pasar malams (night markets) and flea markets. But I hate wet markets.
  56. I love friendly debates and discussions on random issues and topics. I love to just hang out and chat about stuff, both silly and serious.
  57. I love to dance, but I can’t dance. Not very well at least.
  58. I love airplane rides, especially when I take them by myself. But they make my ears hurt, especially the long flights. When I went to Australia, my ears hurt for days, even after we touched down. I think I injured my eardrum or something. It was torture. The short flights are controllable.
  59. I love the smell of petrol and carpenters glue. And the incense they use in church.
  60. I love giving presents and gifts and surprises. Especially to my loved ones. I love the warm fuzzy feeling it gives me and I love to see the look on people’s faces when they get presents.
  61. I love the beach but I don’t like sun tanning because I don’t like to be too dark, and I tan damn easily.
  62. I love the smurfs. When I was younger, I wished that I could shrink myself and visit the smurfs and be friends with them.
  63. I love accessories. Especially rings and bracelets. Especially chunky bracelets.
  64. I’m fascinated by guys who can sing well. I will instinctively turn to see where the voice is coming from.
  65. I can’t live without music. I’d go mad.
  66. I don’t like people licking my ear and shoving their tongue in there and slobbering all over me. I think its disgusting. But if you can keep it dry, its fine.
  67. I don’t like injections. The last time I got an injection, I started crying when I saw the needle. And I tense up like crazy.
  68. I don’t like gambling, casinos or heavy gamblers very much but I occasionally gamble but for small stakes. I don’t even have a habit of buying 4D or Toto unless I have “special” numbers. But I adore mahjong to death.
  69. I don’t like drinking beer from cans. I must pour them into glasses.
  70. I don’t like yellow gold.
  71. I cannot stand people who dangle their cigarettes from their mouths and over the table when playing pool.
  72. If I sleep alone (with no one beside me on the same bed) I pull my blanket over my ears because I’m scared of insects crawling into my ears and laying eggs. And also because I’m scared that “something” may tickle my ears. I also surround myself with soft toys so that there’s no space for ghosts to climb into my bed. And I don’t dare to dangle my legs and arms over the edges of the bed because I’m scared “something” will grab me. And I sleep with the night light and the television on but muted.
  73. I sleep on my sides and not on my back because of comfort reasons and also because I once had a bad experience. (A ghost held me down while I was sleeping on my back and it freaked me out very badly - I couldn’t open my eyes, or move, and I was screaming but no sounds were coming out of my mouth. I was told that you should never let both shoulders lie flat because then it makes you easy prey for ghosts to attack you. and I’ve followed that ever since.)
  74. The previous 2 points don’t really apply if I have someone sleeping beside me, on the same bed, preferably holding me. But if it’s just someone else in the same room, I still get scared. I’m scared to sleep alone.
  75. I don’t dare to take bubble baths or close my eyes in the bathtub because then I can’t see and I’m afraid that spiders or snakes will crawl out from the plughole or the tap. (i think i saw a movie where this happened once.)
  76. I’m scared of the sea but I love being on the sea or near the sea.
  77. I’m too lazy to wash off my makeup at night, especially when i come home really late, so most of the time I just sleep with it on. Its also because I’m scared of closing my eyes while washing my face late at night and then reopening them and looking into the mirror to see ghosts behind me.
  78. I appeared on television when I was a kid - some sunday morning show where I displayed my sticker albums and drawings and took part in quizzes based on sunday morning cartoons.
  79. Lion dances used to freak me out as a kid.
  80. Fireworks scared me as a kid because I was scared they would fall on me and burn me. (yes, even though my parents explained that they were too high in the sky to drop down on me.) Same with those hand held sparklers. I was freaked out that they would burn me and refused to hold them or let them come near me.
  81. I was a prefect in Primary school (primary 4, 5 & 6).
  82. I ran away from home quite a few times when I was in my teens.
  83. I shoplifted in my teens. And I was pretty good at it (not that I’m proud of it!). I gave up after I got caught stealing a $1 lollipop. Thankfully, the shop owner let me off with a warning.
  84. I once went to orchard in my teenage years wearing a T-shirt, silk cartoon boxers, socks and slippers.
  85. I was forced to join the National Police Cadet Corps (NPCC) in secondary school by my mother. But I quit after Sec 3.
  86. I was in track and field in secondary school for awhile. I did the hurdles, long jump, high jump, and sprints. I gave it up because I was too lazy and it was too much hard work and too damn tiring.
  87. I attempted suicide when I was 15 and I stayed in the hospital for a week.
  88. I spent my sec 4 year in a girls hostel because I was a “bad” girl. But it wasn’t the Girl’s Home.
  89. I only did my first year of polytechnic. I got good grades but still failed the exams on poor attendance basis. They offered to let me repeat the year but I refused and dropped out.
  90. I don’t eat scrambled eggs, except for curried (add curry powder, salt and seasoning to the eggs and fry). And I strain the eggs after beating them to get rid of the stringy bits. I don’t like the stringy bits. And I only eat the egg white when it comes to hard boiled eggs or sunny side up eggs, etc.
  91. I only eat the egg and the starch in fried oyster.
  92. I only eat roasted chicken, breast meat chicken rice. Oyster sauce chicken is passable. But I hate white chicken.
  93. I don’t like blood in my food or as my food. This means no liver, only well-done steaks and even if my chicken wings are slightly bloody, I won’t eat them.
  94. I don’t eat body parts like intestines, kidney, etc.
  95. I don’t like eating prawns that still have that black thread along their spines because I read or heard somewhere that that black thread is their shit.
  96. I’m a very fussy eater.
  97. I don’t really like ice cream or chocolates very much. I get sick of it after eating abit. But I love swensen’s sticky chewy chocolate ice cream, raspberry ripple, 7-11’s chendol softee, and those roadside ice cream that comes in a cup or cone.
  98. I’m mildly lactose intolerant. And I only drink chocolate milk. I hate plain milk and strawberry milk. But I love yoghurt. Especially Yami Yoghurt.
  99. I like cheese but I don’t like to sprinkle it on my pizza or pasta.
  100. I like soft / soggy / overnight fries. And I don’t like my fries coated in salt.

According to Advisor Team i’m an IDEALIST. mmmm.

Idealists, as a temperament, are passionately concerned with personal growth and development. Idealists strive to discover who they are and how they can become their best possible self — always this quest for self-knowledge and self-improvement drives their imagination. And they want to help others make the journey.

Idealists are naturally drawn to working with people, and whether in education or counseling, in social services or personnel work, in journalism or the ministry, they are gifted at helping others find their way in life, often inspiring them to grow as individuals and to fulfill their potentials.

Idealists are sure that friendly cooperation is the best way for people to achieve their goals. Conflict and confrontation upset them because they seem to put up angry barriers between people. Idealists dream of creating harmonious, even caring personal relations, and they have a unique talent for helping people get along with each other and work together for the good of all. Such interpersonal harmony might be a romantic ideal, but then Idealists are incurable romantics who prefer to focus on what might be, rather than what is.

The real, practical world is only a starting place for Idealists; they believe that life is filled with possibilities waiting to be realized, rich with meanings calling out to be understood. This idea of a mystical or spiritual dimension to life, the “not visible” or the “not yet” that can only be known through intuition or by a leap of faith, is far more important to Idealists than the world of material things.

Highly ethical in their actions, Idealists hold themselves to a strict standard of personal integrity. They must be true to themselves and to others, and they can be quite hard on themselves when they are dishonest, or when they are false or insincere. More often, however, Idealists are the very soul of kindness.

Particularly in their personal relationships, Idealists are without question filled with love and good will. They believe in giving of themselves to help others; they cherish a few warm, sensitive friendships; they strive for a special rapport with their children; and in marriage they wish to find a “soulmate,” someone with whom they can bond emotionally and spiritually, sharing their deepest feelings and their complex inner worlds.

Idealists are rare, making up between 20 and 25 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers.

The Four types of Idealists are:
Healers (INFP) Counselors (INFJ) Champions (ENFP) Teachers (ENFJ)

And according to Human Metrics i’m, more specificaly, an ENFP.

Your Type is ENFP ( Extroverted 33% Intuitive 11% Feeling 56% Perceiving 11% )

You are:
· moderately expressed extrovert
· slightly expressed intuitive personality
· moderately expressed feeling personality
· slightly expressed perceiving personality

Which leads me to Personality Type.Com for a glimpse of “a few popular and often satisfying careers for people whose Personality Type is ENFP”.

Advertising account executive (i’d like this job.)

Career / outplacement counselor

Management consultant

Developer of educational software

Actor (just imagine me on the silver screen! i’d be a star!)

Journalist / magazine reporter (interesting. Hmmm.)

Art director

Copy writer

Corporate team trainer

Residential housing director

Psychologist (oh yes. lemme into your minds so i can screw with them.)

More on ENFPs. Its all quite accurate, actually.
